Shower Valve Fix Gone Wrong

A new customer to HillPro located in Layton, Utah, called due to an issue with a shower valve that had been heavily damaged while a different plumbing company was trying to fix a simple leak. This was an unfortunate situation that results from a lack of experience and expertise in replacing and fixing these issues. All plumbers make these mistakes as they learn, but it’s always important to validate the level of experience of your technician before letting them work on your home.

Our team was able to make an urgent stop at the customer’s home to replace the shower valve with an affordable solution on a Saturday afternoon. The lack of shower access throughout the week left them using their camping gear and buckets due to the timing of the issue. We were happy to get them in quickly and to get their water and showing working fully again! You can bet they were excited when the water was running again!  

The damaged shower valve forced the homeowner to use alternative showering options while waiting for a plumber to fix it.
